Great Art Party in Reus to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Anquins gallery
More than two hundred people attended the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Anquins art gallery on Friday, March 24, which took place in two spaces: in the gallery, where the works of the 50 artists currently associated with the gallery -the majority present at the opening ceremony and from all over the country- and in Cal Massó, where the guests: artists, gallery owners, friends, clients and authorities watched an emotional video with testimonials that gave their vision of the gallery over the years and the book "Chronicle of a private art gallery" written by cultural journalist Tate Cabré was presented.
The event was attended by the president of the Tarragona Provincial Council, Mrs. Noemí Llauradó and the Mayor of Reus, Mr. Carles Pellicer, who gives to Pepa Quinteiro a plaque in recognition of the work carried out for 50 years . Also present at the event were the President of the Reddis Foundation, Mrs. Carme Buixeda, Mrs. Mireia Freixa, Secretary of the Sant Jordi Academy of Fine Arts, Mrs. Marta Gustà, head of the ICEC of the Generalitat de Catalunya, critics of art Raquel Medina and Ramon Casalé and other personalities linked to the world of art.
The VINCLES exhibition, which commemorates the anniversary with paintings and sculptures by 50 artists, can be visited until May 13 at the Anquins gallery.
The 50 YEARS OF ARTexhibition, with a chronology, photographs, posters, catalogs and a video, can be visited until April 14 at Cal Massó (Tuesday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ) :00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: 30 p.m. in Pròsper de Bofarull street, 8).
