Mónica Castanys: A chromatic journey into the interior

The Anquins gallery opens the doors to a new universe with the solo exhibition by Mònica Castanys, "Welcome". From October 4th, when it opened with great success, until November 16th, we will be able to immerse ourselves in a world of color and emotions where the female figure and the journey are intimately intertwined.

An introspective journey through color

Castanys presents us with a series of works that invite us to an introspective journey. Her expressive brushstrokes and vibrant palette capture the essence of the human being in everyday moments: a woman waiting at an airport, walking through a city or simply enjoying a cup of coffee.

Each painting is an invitation to contemplation. As art critic Montse Frisach notes, Castanys' paintings "emanate simultaneous and intertwined narratives that would not exist if someone were not looking at the painting." It is this power of art that connects us with the emotions and experiences of the figures she portrays.
