Didier Lourenço presents “Primera persona”
Didies Lourenço present "Primera persona"
Didier Lourenço inaugurated his latest exhibition, “Primera persona”, on Friday 19, March.
The artist came to the gallery where he was able to talk and share with all the attendees who came to see the works during the afternoon.
“Primera persona” stands out for its vitality, the cheerful colors invite you to enter the works and connect with them from your own experience. Because one of the characteristics of Lourenço's works is this daily life present in each of his paintings and sculptures, which incite in the viewer a feeling of connection and a space where to see oneself, reconnecting with their interior and seeing themselves reflected in some way.
One of the news of "First Person" are the sculptures that Didier has presented for the first time. Bicycles could not be missing, a very recurring element in him, since he ensures that it is the ideal vehicle to go through life, neither running as much as with the car nor going as slow as walking. The rhythm that we achieve while riding a bicycle encourages the viewer to enjoy the work calmly, with freedom.
We also find the famous "Lourenço girl" that appears in many of the author's works.
