CUIXART is one of the most representative artists of the Spanish post-war period, co-founder of the Dau al Set group together with Joan Brossa, Antoni Tà pies, Joan Ponç, Arnau Puig and Joan-Josep Tharrats. Together they founded one of the most important thought and art groups of the 1950s, bringing with them the second avant-garde of the 20th century.
The Anquins gallery held various individual exhibitions in the 80s and paid homage to him at the "Saló de Maig" in 1985.
In 2023, the Anquins gallery offers a selection of Cuixart's works from the 50s-60s in the exhibition "Natura diversa" curated by Raquel Medina. From January 27 to March 11.
