Montse Valdés. Soul manifestations

I paint nudes because I look for the essence in things and in people. I try to paint the emotions, the feelings, the moods, the soul, the essence, the essential. I strip away clothes and even try to transcend the body, the material.

For this reason, sometimes they are people that are almost not here, they are very much inside themselves. With eyes shut and breathing deeply, they touch the energy or listen to the silence. They close eyes and ears to listen better to themselves. They walk blindly guided by their intuition, perceiving within and outside themselves life.
